Is your student a reluctant writer or an aspiring novelist?

Believe it or not, there’s an approach where both of these students can thrive! In this blog, we hope to provide you with a new perspective on your homeschooling journey—one that will transform the way you approach language arts. We offer homeschool writing programs for middle and high school, but our philosophy goes much deeper.

At Clear Water Press, we are all about story-centered learning—which is another way of saying immersive learning.

Part of the problem with traditional writing programs and assignments is that they leave out what writing is for. This is why we’ve designed our programs as creative projects students can complete in one school year.

We believe learning should be story-centered— which is another way of saying immersive learning. We’ll be sharing some of the philosophical framework in this blog. From taking high school essay writing to the next level, to crafting a novel, to the freedom that comes when your student to chooses what they write about, we hope that not only will your student thrive, but that you’ll find inspiration as well!

Every person has something they want to communicate; even if they wouldn’t think to write a magazine, a novel, or a newspaper. Students feel very differently about writing when we show them how to communicate what matters to them.

Young writers need ownership of their writing projects.

We’ll show you how this works. And together we can give them the keys to story.
